On November 19, the 2018 China Created Fair Saudi for Business Matching, co-sponsored by the China Chamber of International Commerce and MOFCOM Foreign Trade Development Bureau, kicked off at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events. Chinese and foreign guests such as Deputy Director Jin Hong of our bureau, Consul-general Tan Banglin of the Consulate General in Jeddah, Economic and Commercial Counselor of China in Jeddah Zhang Ming, Deputy Secretary General of Jeddah Chamber Mohamed Assad, Vice President of Saudi Harris International Exhibition Company Sahu Shadik cut the ribbon for the opening of the exhibition and inspected the venue.

Attending were 113 enterprises from more than ten provinces and cities including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui and Shandong participated in the exhibition with 178 booths. In order to promote the pragmatic cooperation between the two countries, before the opening of the exhibition, our bureau and the Jeddah Chamber jointly held the China-Saudi Business Matching Meeting and the 2018 Jinhua Industry Briefing Conference. Deputy Director Jin Hong, Economic and Commercial Counselor Zhang Ming, Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber Mazen Battarjee and Secretary-General Ibrahim Dahlan, and Secretary-General of the Jinhua Municipal People's Congress Committee of Zhejiang Province Shi Meihong attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

During the visit in Jeddah, Deputy Director Jin Hong also held talks with the representatives of some organizations including the Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber Mazen Battarjee, CEO of Harris Group Issam and Vice President of Saudi Harris International Exhibition Company Sahu Shadik, and exchanged views with the Consulate General of China in Jeddah and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
